Business Development Manager
MarketScale, a strategic B2B marketing firm located in downtown Dallas, is looking for a Business Development Manager with experience in deploying best practices in sales and marketing to grow a book of business.
As a member of our Business Development team, your primary role is to source new business opportunities for MarketScale through a combination of outbound calling efforts, social selling, prospecting, travel and networking.
Use best in class sales and marketing tools such as Salesforce CRM to manage pipeline, connect with prospects and automate elements of the sales and marketing process. MarketScale provides cloud-based sales and marketing tools to assist in lead generation and lead follow-up.
Candidates must possess strong prospecting and business development skills with experience in conducting outbound sales calls via phone and in person. B2B strategy and marketing experience is a plus, as is niche B2B marketing experience in markets such as Professional AV, Architecture and Construction, Industrial IoT, Software and Electronics and many more.
Business Development Managers are expected to deliver daily KPI such as sales qualified leads and opportunities notated within Salesforce, interacting with the sales team to quantify new business opportunities and develop strategies in securing new business.
Mastery of standard cloud-based office productivity tools is required, as is mastery of Microsoft Office tools such as Word and Excel. Basic web design/development, WordPress, Hubspot technical competencies are a plus because it helps you communicate elements of our offering to technical marketers.
