The B2B Marketing Trends to Leave Behind in 2022
A number of marketing and media trends have emerged in the past year, including NFTs, the Metaverse, audio chatrooms, and more. While B2C marketing often pioneers these edge technologies and marketing strategies to varied success, it’s the B2B marketing strategists left wondering: is this something I should adopt? Is it actually worth precious time and limited budgetary investment?
With 2023 fast approaching, MarketScale host Gabrielle Bejarano breaks down which trends B2B marketing pros should leave behind.
Gabrielle’s Thoughts
“Hello everyone. As we start to approach the end of the year, let’s go ahead and maybe talk about some of the trends that marketers should be leaving behind in the new year. Actually, according to a recent HubSpot report, one in three marketers plan to stop using NFTs, and 29% plan to cut out marketing in the Metaverse, as well as audio chat rooms in 2023.
Voice search optimization and VR as well as AR are also at the top of the chopping block in terms of trends that marketers plan to drop. And while these trends are dropping, it’s still important to note that although some marketers might be stepping away from these, there are still those that have yet to explore these trends and plan to do so in the new year.
As a whole, increasing engagement across all platforms is the unifying objective, and that remains.”
