Job Description

About the XFL
The new XFL will reimagine football for the 21st century when it kicks off in early 2020. Delivering authentic, high-energy football for the whole family at an affordable price, the XFL will offer fast-paced games with fewer play stoppages and simpler rules. The league will launch with eight teams in markets across the country, 45-man active rosters and a 10-week regular season schedule with a postseason consisting of two semifinal playoff games and a championship game. The XFL is a single entity that owns the league and all teams, employing professionals at the Stamford, CT headquarters as well as in each of the markets that the teams call home.

About the Role

We are looking for a CRM Analyst to play a critical role in the strategic development and execution of the XFL’s CRM management, workflow, and optimization for the XFL and its eight teams. The person in this role at XFL headquarters in Stamford, CT, will have a direct impact on the CRM strategy and effectiveness in building and maintaining our relationship with XFL season ticket members and other fans. This role will work as part of the XFL’s sales and marketing operation, alongside Elevate Sports Ventures, who leads ticket sales initiatives for each of the XFL’s eight teams.

This position will be responsible for multiple concurrent projects and work in collaboration with the Team Business Operations, Technology, Ticket Sales, Marketing, and Intelligence departments.

What you will do 

  • Serve as the internal subject matter expert for our CRM system, Salesforce Sales Cloud.
  • Develop, maintain and enhance workflow rules and business logic.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create, articulate, and drive compelling sales campaigns to engage our customer base.
  • Understand the sources of data that feed into our CRM environment and recommend how best to collect and organize this data.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders, including marketing, to ensure successful execution of lead nurture, retention and lifecycle programs.
  • Provide recommendations to the Ticket Sales and Service leadership team on how best to leverage our CRM to execute on their strategic vision.
  • Support the day-to-day business needs by building reports and dashboards.
  • Analyze sales campaign performance and deliver insight for how to iteratively improve engagement.

  • BA/BS degree in a quantitative field or equivalent work experience.
  • 1+ years of experience in CRM campaign creation and workflow.
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM (Sales Cloud) is required.
  • Certifications such as Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant, or other software certifications are preferred.
  • Experience with SQL, Tableau, Ticketmaster (or other ticketing systems), marketing automation software and integrations with CRM platforms is preferred, but not required.
  • Critical eye for detail.
