Job Description

When an entire city needs to be rendered into a 3D model, utilities buried deep under soil need to be uncovered, highly complex infrastructure projects need to be implemented and even when crime scene investigation needs to be documented – that’s Leica Geosystems, part of Hexagon. More than 5,200 employees in 33 countries help us develop the latest technologies for Reality Capture, survey and measurement.

 

The Global HR Business Partner (HRBP) will support the Geospatial Content Solutions Division. The HRBP role requires a strong HR leader and change agent with the ability to understand and help transform an international business.

WHAT YOU GET TO DO:

  • Actively participate in M&A process and drive organizational integration actions.
  • Act as a change agent and champion organizational transformation and transitions.
  • Be a “sparring partner” for the management team to explore issues and challenge the status quo.
  • Actively participate in strategy sessions and business review meetings to provide input on initiatives and issues, maintain awareness, and present relevant topics and updates.
  • Support the strategic and operational growth of the businesses, from the HR perspective, through programs, policies, support and advice to the management teams.
  • Coordinate with other HR departments/people to meet the needs of the Division, ensuring seamless process implementation and communication.
  • Provide consultation and direct involvement with complex employee relations issues and performance problems to work through to solution.
  • With the Division President and other business leaders, develop strategic resourcing plans including, organizational development, talent development and succession.
  • Build diversity and inclusion strategy and increase organizational capabilities in cross-cultural intelligence.
  • Work with managers to define and implement actions to drive employee engagement and alignment.
  • Ensure that the principles of Performance Management are being implemented effectively. Provide training and coaching as needed.
  • Identify training and development needs at the Division level and work with managers to develop solutions in colaboration with Global People Development. May deliver or facilitate trainings and workshops.
  • Oversee compensation related processes.
  • Support global HR initiatives as appropriate.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:

·     Significant HRBP experience with an emphasis on leading transformational change, M&A integration and organizational transitions.

·     Cross-cultural experience and savvy.

·     Strong leadership and influence skills.

·     Experience partnering at with managers within a complex, matrix organization

·     Excellent communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills, including the capability of providing direction and feedback to internal and external stakeholders

·     High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

·     Ability to work effectively and constructively in a team environment

·     Willingness to take initiative and work in a self-sufficient manner

·     Commitment to continuous improvement and further development of skills

·     Ability to form strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and represent the company professionally

·     Ability to analyze and communicate risks and apply strategies to minimize them

·     Keen sense of urgency, responsibility, and accountability

·     Commercial acumen and insight

·     Ability to think and act strategically as well as implement on a tactical level

This position will require significant travel to our locations in Europe, North America and India. The position can be in either the Atlanta, GA or Washington DC areas. Other remote locations may be considered.
