The Sales Manager drives the execution of bookings and achievement of Greenstone’s annual sales targets. This role has oversight over all sales resources within Greenstone and works closely with the Marketing team to ensure that the company is maximizing conversion rates.
Role & Responsibilities:
Lead and develop the existing sales team to be more strategic in expanding the sales of existing and new products to a large installed customer base
Build the necessary tools, practices and skills to support the sales strategy,
Work closely with marketing and executive leadership to establish and achieve monthly, quarterly and yearly revenue and critical objective goals.
Develop reliable sales plans based on proven metrics aligned with overall business objectives.
Establish and maintain a cadre of sales candidates for future hire.
Occasional travel to visit key customer sites and industry trade shows.
Interpersonal abilities with the knack of being a People Leader developing and coaching a sales team to meet and exceed targets
Experience selling ERP or SaaS products in a B2B environment
Proven Experience creating and managing a strategic sales pipeline.
Strategic in building relationships with new and key accounts with the ability to problem solve customer needs
Competitive at nature with high energy, integrity and accountability manifesting a high sense of urgency to meeting sales targets.
The ability to communicate and present in front of C-level executives
An understanding of marketing functions and how it relates to software sales
Proficient in a CRM tool (i.e. Salesforce)
Experience with MS Office Suite
Possess solid career progression
Nice to have, but not required:
Experience with Salesforce
A Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or a related field
Domain knowledge in Agribusiness, Agtech, or Food related software
