The Social Media Manager is responsible for managing the clubs social media platforms.
Manage all of the Dallas Stars social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, & Snapchat.
Create and implement a variety of social media campaigns and contests to engage with fans and increase brand awareness.
Stay on the cutting edge of technologies associated with social media landscape
Work with corporate partnerships and sales to create appropriate social messages and posts, along with app integration that meets both parties needs.
Manage games and prize distribution hosted on the app/social.
Monitor and compile social media and app metrics.
Game Night duties: Live tweet games, update platforms as game progresses, engage with fans, run in game contests, support party on the plaza.
Maintain an excellent working relationship with NHL social media producers and app developers, ensuring the club is taking advantage of all opportunities available, while keeping the league informed of the clubs needs and priorities
Ongoing, timely updates on social channels, ensuring they meet the objectives established by the organization
marketing communications including those designed to drive ticket sales, event and arena information
latest news stories from DallasStars.com writers and reporters
hockey-related information including press releases, news, injury updates, roster moves, and statistics
Work with Graphic Artists to create art needed for profile pics, headers, and postings for social platforms and wallpapers, photos, etc. for the app.
Be available at a moments notice when news breaks and it must be reported on social media.
