Job Summary:

The Solentra Technical Solutions Consultant for Facilities Management and Operations is responsible for assisting with revenue growth by working directly with Solentra Engagement Managers assisting with technology adoption and performance improvement of key enterprise clients. The successful candidate will be a subject matter expert in grain operations, facilities management, transportation and logistics with a thorough understanding of grain weighing systems, namely bulk weighing and platform scale systems. The candidate must have a demonstrable proficiency in presenting technical sales demonstrations to well-informed clients. Must be able to provide insights to client on process improvements and best practices for their operations acting as a trusted industry advisor.

The Position

The Solentra Technical Solutions Consultant for Facilities Management and Operations is responsible for assisting with revenue growth by working directly with Solentra Engagement Managers focusing on technology adoption and performance improvement of key enterprise clients. The successful candidate will be a subject matter expert in grain operations, facilities management, transportation and logistics with a thorough understanding of grain weighing systems, namely bulk weighing and platform scale systems. The candidate must have demonstrable proficiency in presenting technical sales demonstrations to well-informed clients. Must be able to provide insights to the client on process improvements and best practices for their operations acting as a trusted industry advisor.

Key Responsibilities

Assisting Engagement Manager with revenue generation – working with EM to consistently achieve quarterly and annual quota with funded development and product sales.
Acting as a subject matter expert, the Technical Solutions Consultant will provide insights to clients regarding process improvement and best practices.
Manage the pipeline of opportunities and assist with preparing work estimates, SOWs and quotes to the client for products and new projects.
Expand Solentra’s footprint into other areas of the client’s organization.
Collaborate with Solentra team members to improve the customer experience and enhance the product and services portfolio to align with client and industry needs
Specific Deliverables

Develop a clear, achievable forecast for bookings results in monthly, quarterly and annually and manage forecast data month over month.
Attend and present at customer meetings, industry events, and internal company functions.
Pursue to completion of revenue-generating opportunities with the client.
Job Requirement

Bachelor’s in Agribusiness, Agronomy, or a related field
Deep domain expertise in agribusiness (8+ years of experience), specifically with operations and facilities management for grains, oilseeds, and/or related industries.
Familiarity with software applications and technologies in agribusiness/agri-food; experience selling or selecting and implementation software products for the grain and oilseed industry.
Expertise in presentations, public speaking, and technical sales techniques.
Strong business acumen.
Outstanding ability to work through others.
The ability to win the confidence of others.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
High energy and sense of urgency.
Customer-oriented and comfortable presenting software and technology in front of executives, supervisors and end-users.
Ability to travel a minimum of 50% of the workweek on average.
Excellent interpersonal skills, especially be an effective listener.
Fluency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
