Stephen currently serves as CEO of FreedomPop, the fastest growing wireless carrier in the US, which he co-founded in 2012. In this capacity, Stephen leads all aspects of company development including product innovation, customer acquisition and partner alliances. Under Stephen’s leadership, FreedomPop has grown to over 80 employees and earned numerous industry awards for its innovation and disruptive impact on the wireless market.
Stephen also served as British Telecom’s VP of Strategy and Product Development through 2007. At BT, he generated over $500 million in new wave revenue putting BT in the forefront of online communications, digital media and open Wi-Fi. Stephen started his career with Accenture then left to co-found JustWhatiWant.com, profitably sold in 2000. Stephen also worked in venture capital and was Director of eCommerce for Qwest Communications.
He holds two graduate degrees, an MBA from UC Berkeley and a Masters in Finance from London Business School.
