Igloo Vision Picks Epson Projectors

Igloo Vision designs, develops, and delivers immersive 360° projection domes, projection cylinders, and enabling technology for shared VR experiences for events, training purposes, and collaborative engagements. With rentable and ownable projection spaces ranging from 6 to 21 meters in diameter and able to accommodate up to 1,000 people, Igloo’s VR environments offer simulation to immerse teams in any scenario, engage participants in a variety of experiences, and inspire or entertain users. Igloo creates visualization that brings design concepts to life.

To ensure that their high-profile clients are engrossed in the immersive Full HD projections and studio-quality soundscapes, Igloo must rely on advanced, dependable technology. As a standard solution for their five-projector 12.5 meter dome, they chose Epson EB-L1105U laser installation projectors for their affordability, 3LCD image quality, low maintenance performance, and motorized lenses that allow for non-image-distorting flexible positioning.

“The great thing about the projectors is the constant brightness and color accuracy,” said Peter Halliday, Head of Communications at Igloo. “For all of our work, we do image-warping and edge-blending via at least five projectors, so any variations in brightness and color accuracy really show. In the past, with lamp projectors, we’d spend a lot of time on calibration, but with the new Epson laser projectors and their in-built cameras, this process is quicker and simpler.”

With improved image quality, unmatched reliability, and budget-friendly pricing, it’s no wonder Igloo chose the Epson EB-L1105U laser installation projector to replace their previous projection solution.
