Felicity H. Barber

Founder Thoughtful Communications

Felicity H. Barber has had a lifelong passion for storytelling, dating back to her earliest memories. Helping individuals craft compelling narratives is not just a profession for her; it's a dream come true. Throughout her career, Felicity has had the privilege of collaborating with some of the biggest names in finance, assisting them in defining their narrative, delivering messages effectively, and establishing themselves as thought leaders. Earlier this year, Felicity made the bold decision to leave her corporate position and launch Thoughtful Communications. Through this venture, she writes keynote speeches, mentors emerging speechwriters and executive communication professionals, and provides communication coaching services. Felicity is also the host of The Friendly Ghost podcast, which delves into the art of speechwriting. Additionally, she shares valuable speechwriting and public speaking tips through her weekly newsletter. Her accolades include being the recipient of the Best Banking and Financial Services Speech award at the Cicero Awards in both 2020 and 2021, along with an Honorable Mention in 2018. She was also recognized as an Economic Club of New York Fellow in the Class of 2019 and serves as an Advisory Council Member for the Professional Speechwriters Association. Felicity has also been invited as a guest lecturer at Pratt University and Carleton University.
