A new agreement has been signed between Toyota Research Institute and GoMentum Station that will see autonomous vehicle tech tested in “hazardous driving scenarios” at a 5,000-acre site in Concord, California, according to a new press release from Toyota.The new partnership — which will be managed by the Contra Costa Transportation Authority (CCTA) — will see the Toyota Research Institute’s self-driving vehicle tech put through the paces as regards extreme driving conditions not possible to explore with testing on public roads.
