Jason has 18 years of hands-on technical experience in the fields of remote sensing and geospatial technology. Commanded 1,000+ hours combat ISR missions over Afghanistan. Developed and led geospatial training courses and provided technical consulting on remote sensing and GIS/LIS strategy and the application of geographic object-based image analysis (GEOBIA) technology for local, state, national and international clients. Conducted scientific field studies in support of MASINT/AGI sensors and provided training in multispectral and hyperspectral image analysis. Demonstrated thought leadership with multiple journal publications, webinars, industry articles and white papers. Served as the manager of two technical services contracts with USGS (EROS Data Center) and US Army (IGI&S). Managed the daily operations and growth of a state-of-the-art geospatial solutions company and directed the successful completion of numerous mapping projects used for planning, management and monitoring purposes. These large-scale geospatial projects cover many vertical markets including Defense, Intelligence, Land Use, Homeland Security, Disaster Management, Environment, Renewable Energy, Law Enforcement, Agriculture, Insurance and Forestry. I developed many analytical procedures and algorithms fusing predictive analysis, geospatial technology, statistical analysis, commercial and Open Source GIS software, and several imagery exploitation software platforms. Invited to give professional technical presentations at local, state, national and international forums and conferences... and can eat 30 chicken nuggets in one sitting.
