On a recent episode of ‘Talkin’ Shop with Walbro‘, host Michelle Dawn Mooney met with three successful YouTube influencers – @Donyboy73 (Don), @StevesSmallEngineSaloon (Steve), and @Chickanic (Bre). Amidst 51 million YouTube channels, they shared how they carved out their niches in the small engine repair field and became renowned content creators.

Starting from humble beginnings, they credited their expertise and dedication to content creation as the pillars of their success. They discussed their inspirations and strategies for finding shop locations and their plans for expansion.

Don, who runs “Don the Small Engine Doctor,” emphasized that the fear of running out of ideas is unfounded. The more you create, the more ideas flow, making time the only limit.

Bre, owner of a small engine shop in Arkansas and a channel dedicated to helping viewers save time, money, and frustration with repairs, shed light on the hard work behind each video. She spends 2-5 hours filming and three hours editing after her full-day job.

Steve, who operates “Steve’s Small Engine Saloon”, creates content based on repairs for family and friends, viewer suggestions, and comments, as he does not own a working shop. Despite differing methodologies, their passion and perseverance drive their success in the YouTube realm.
