3 Things to Look for at Construct 2019

Washington D.C. may have a reputation as a place where nothing actionable gets done, but that will not be the case from October 9-11. Construct Show 2019 will bring professionals from all aspects of the architecture and design industries together. Engineers, project managers, contractors and more will convene at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center for three days of learning and networking.

Here are three reasons why AEC professionals should keep an eye on this conference:

  • Holistic Exhibitors and Speakers

While most conferences focus on a select niche within an industry, Construct brings together a diverse array of professionals. This facilitates collaboration and networking for every attendee’s needs. With hundreds of companies in attendance and exhibiting, there will be ample opportunity to learn and network within many sectors of the AEC industry.

  • Young Professional Development

On Wednesday, Oct. 9, Construct will host Emerging Professionals Day. The event will be open to professionals or students under the age of 35. Throughout the conference, young professionals will have the opportunity to network and receive mentorship from more experienced personnel within all aspects of the AEC industry.

  • Demonstrations and Educational Opportunities

While there will be more than 50 educational sessions available to attendees, a more significant learning opportunity may come from offerings like the Learning Lounge, Demo & Learning Theater and New Workshop Studio. These will all offer hands on opportunities to engage with products, and the latter two are free to attend.

MarketScale will attend the show on Wednesday, Oct. 9. For live updates from the show, follow us on Twitter @MarketScale. You can also join the conversation in our LinkedIn Market Leaders group here.

May 25, 2026

Healthcare isn’t short on strategy right now—it’s short on people, access, and experienced leadership where it matters most.
