ZIVELO recently attended DSE 2018 to showcase their new Virtual Banking Expert. Bank of America is currently rolling out this unit, whose purpose is to allow banks to staff a branch from a central location and service multiple other locations. When the customer enters the bank, she checks in and tells them what she needs. The customer is then directed to a private enclosure where she sits down in front of the unit, hits the call button, and is connected with a banking professional in her area of need.

The benefit is that fewer staff are needed for each transaction, which increases branch efficiency and reduces customer wait time. In addition, it allows branches to offer services that they may not otherwise be able to offer due to the complexities of staffing. The reaction has been positive so far. ZIVELO was excited to participate in DSE and have the opportunity to see the newest in communications solutions, and they were proud to demonstrate their Virtual Banking Expert.
