Watch: New Best Buy Logo Reflects Retail Trends

Electronics and home appliance retailer Best Buy has changed its logo. In a move that reflects the rise of e-commerce and slowing down of brick and mortar stores, Best Buy shrunk the size of its famous price tag emblem.

A spokesperson for the Minnesota-based retail giant said the logo represents, “an evolution toward the future.” The company recently partnered with e-commerce leader Amazon, but that move was actually designed to attract more traffic in Best Buy’s brick-and-mortar stores.

The partnership between the two companies allows Best Buy to sell Amazon products in its stores.
