Ms. James is a student at the College of Court Reporting, Inc. in Valparaiso, Indiana.

“I am so honored to receive this scholarship,” Carmen James said. “Stenographers provide such invaluable services to our communities and that is one of the reasons why becoming a court reporter is one of my highest personal goals. Receiving this scholarship will make it possible for me to continue on in my court reporting education and eventually make that goal a reality.
