Russian Athletes Appeal Their Doping Ban for 2018 Winter Olympics

Following a ban from the IOC on the basis of doping in the 2014 Winter Olympics, 22 Russian athletes have appealed the decision. Russian athletes may still go for gold provided they pass a doping test and compete neutrally, not for their home country. The athletes are hoping the appeal will be decided before the games begin in February 2018.
