What News To Expect at IAAPA Expo 2019

More than 1,000 leading amusement park and attraction industry companies will exhibit at IAAPA Expo 2019. The Orange County Convention Center will open on November 19 until 22 and dozens of product reveals and launches will be announced.

Here are a few news events to keep an eye on during the show:

SUMBA Unveil of New Park Operations and Risk Management Platform

SUMBA, an attraction builder and maintenance service provider will give attendees an opportunity to interact with its new digital monitoring platform at IAAPA.

“We are excited to be launching a product that will eliminate the need for cumbersome paper-based inspection systems, save owners and operators hours of time, decrease the possibility of human error and increase the overall safety of the facility,” company CEO Jason Proffitt said in a press release.

Interested attendees can visit booth #4180 to see the new product.

Walltopia Gamifier Presentation

On November 21 from 1:50-2:15 p.m. EST, Walltopia will unveil its new Gamifier, an interactive gamification system used to enhance attractions. The company worked with Techtopia to create a more interactive experience for end users at attractions while also providing valuable data on consumer behavior for theme parks. The event will take place at booth #1686.

LAI Games Challenge

LAI Games will hold a live tournament at IAAPA Expo on its new arcade game, Outnumbered. The company will also reveal its Tournament Kit, a marketing tool that supports the game.

The kit comes with trophies, swag for participants and more.

“Outnumbered is a highly competitive game that’s perfectly suited for tournaments. We saw a real opportunity to grow the community around the game and also give location owners a real marketing tool to drive traffic through their doors,” Tabor Carlton, LAI Games Marketing Director said.

The tournament will run from Tuesday, Nov. 19 when the doors to IAAPA open until Thursday Nov. 21 at 4:30 p.m. EST.

Embed Partners with OpenEdge on Integrated Payment Processing

Embed, a software solutions platform for the amusement and entertainment industry has partnered with payment processing provider OpenEdge. The partnership is designed to help amusement park managers better track cash flows and better centralize and secure transaction management.
