Boeing Announces The Debut of the 737 MAX 7

Boeing is rolling out the debut of a new airplane—the 737 MAX 7!
This recent addition to the Boeing family can carry 172 passengers, and has a flying range of about 3,850 nautical miles, which is 1000 miles further than its predecessor. And with an 18% lower fuel consumption level, it’s cheaper to fly as well. In addition, the 737 MAX 7 incorporates the much quieter LEAP-1B engine, which according to Boeing, when compared to the Next-Generation 737s, reduces fuel use and CO2 emissions by 14%.
“We look forward to demonstrating the incredible flexibility and range of this airplane,” says Keith Leverkuhn, Vice President and General Manager of the 737 MAX Program, Boeing Commercial Airplanes. “This is the third 737 MAX family member our team has successfully introduced in just three years.”
The airplane will undergo a series of checks and flight tests before its scheduled delivery to Southwest Airlines in 2019. So far, this is fastest-selling airplane in Boeing history, accumulating more than 4,300 orders from 92 customers worldwide.
