YouTuber, Ham Radio DX, gives an insider look at this year’s three-day Dayton Hamvention. He highlighted the fun activities at the event, which featured a vibrant exhibition area showcasing the latest equipment, including products from Icom, and technology solutions, along with educational programs and expert-led sessions on various topics. Ham Radio DX also captured some of the emerging trends and future technologies in radio, such as the growing demographic of young people and females pursuing the hobby.

These young people and women are either interested in becoming amateur radio operators or are already operators, looking to contribute to the future of radio and technology. Dayton Hamvention is one of the world’s largest amateur radio gatherings, bringing together radio enthusiasts, professionals, and industry leaders. Nearly 40,000 people attended this event, which is over 2,000 more attendees than last year’s event and even more than pre-pandemic attendance records.
