HVAC’s Role in Fighting Back Against COVID-19

As the novel coronavirus and the ensuing COVID-19 pandemic have continued to impact every aspect of modern society, organizations across the world are looking for ways to ensure the healthiest environment possible during the ongoing period of reopening and the march toward an immediate new normal.

Entry scanner solutions, testing programs, cleaning regimens and more have all been developed to get facilities as ready as possible to provide peace of mind and efficiency even during this uncertain period – and HVAC systems are no exception.

HVAC systems have certainly seen innovations in both technology and service thanks to this renewed focus on health and safety – but some of the solutions still excelling today might be older than you think.

In this video, you’ll hear from Service Logic Vice President of Sales and Engineering, Stillman Jordan, who outlined how the technology and HVAC solutions companies are searching for may have already existed and been implemented for years.

“Fortunately, in the [HVAC] business, we’ve been focused on providing great indoor air quality for a long time,” he said. “So, a lot of the technologies and approaches that we use – they aren’t new. I’d say what is new is this increased attention and focus on deploying them more often and more effectively.”
