Stenograph Podcast: Court Reporting Technology and Trends

Making sure that court reporters are well trained and that they have the right tools to be successful, is what we’re really focused on Maxscribe and making sure that our reporters are familiar with it. We also want to continue promoting remote depositions as a viable option, even as things start to return back to normal. It’s important for people to understand that you don’t always have to be in the same room as someone else in order for a deposition to take place. And we want to continue building out our platform so that we can offer even more services and solutions for our clients. One of the goals for this year is also expanding our reach and growing in new markets. With the shortage of court reporters being felt across the industry, there’s no better time than now for us to expand into new areas where there’s a need for more deposition services. We think that by offering digital reporting as an option, we can help fill some of those gaps where traditional court reporting may not be available. Another objective is maintaining affordability without sacrificing quality. We understand that cost is always a factor when it comes to legal proceedings, which is why we’ve built our pricing structure around an hourly model instead of per page billing. We believe this makes it easier for attorneys and their clients alike to plan their budgets more effectively without having any unexpected surprises at the end of a deposition. Overall, we’re excited about what the future holds for Claritas Depositions and digital reporting in general. As technology continues to evolve, so too will the way depositions are conducted and recorded. And with platforms like CaseTestify from Stenograph, we believe these changes will only benefit everyone involved in litigation proceedings by making them more efficient, accessible, and accurate than ever before.
