The firm will install a 5kW solar panel system and a Powerall 2 battery on public housing properties throughout the country over the course of four years. Due to a potential energy crisis, South Australia has experienced numerous blackouts. The plan comes after Elon Musk vowed to build a giant battery farm to help improve living conditions in the area.
