Dunkin’ Donuts is aiming to eliminate lines for customers placing mobile orders. Their Quincy, MA test location hosts a drive-thru exclusively for customers ordering ahead on their smartphones. The location also includes a digital kiosk for ordering, with a Dunkin’ Donuts employee on standby to help customers as needed. This new approach comes amid shakeups to the franchises’ names, now just “Dunkin‘,” and rapid expansion of the menu to keep up with competitors.
