Watch: Meal kit giant Blue Apron looks for new opportunities in retail

Blue Apron, one of the nation’s largest meal kit delivery services, recently announced plans to expand sales to retail space. As Walmart makes similar plans to sell meal kits around the country, Blue Apron could see some fierce competition. Walmart prepares meal kits daily while Kroger, another competitor, aims for fresh and cost-effective options. Blue Apron says the change will help develop a multichannel presence for the brand, though the market may be crowded by the time they hit stores.
