Watch: Panera Bread Recalls Cream Cheese Over Listeria Contamination
The chain is recalling the product after a cream cheese sample showed a positive result for Listeria. Listeria results in fever and diarrhea and can be especially dangerous for pregnant women. The products being recalled have an expiration date on or before March 2, 2018. The recall only affects products sold in the United States. “We have likewise ceased all manufacturing in the associated cream cheese facility.” – Panera’s president and CEO Blaine Hurst.
