In every industry, companies rely on vital software programs to increase and measure productivity, for internal and external communication, to perform accounting functions, for product lifecycle management, client tracking and monitoring, and so much more. When looking to purchase or upgrade their software systems, businesses often look to resources like Software Advice for guidance. Software Advice is the leading online service for businesses navigating the software selection process, helping organizations identify the best systems for their needs based on capabilities, reviews, and more.

Recently, Software Advice published their 2019 EMR FrontRunners Report, and for the second year in a row, ChartLogic was selected as a top pick in the small vendor category.

About the Report

Data-driven, Software Advice’s FrontRunners assessments seek to find the best EHR software products offering the best functionality and value. FrontRunners uses real reviews from validated software users to highlight the top software products for businesses of all sizes. Their objective is to help these companies make the most informed decision, saving them both time and resources. Software Advice has dozens of ChartLogic reviews as well as other software vendors.

For consideration in the FrontRunner EMR report, the healthcare product needed to have a minimum of 20 user reviews published in the last 18 months across three Gartner Digital Markets web properties (softwareadvice.com, capterra.com, or getapp.com). The minimum qualifying score for enterprise vendors was 3.51 for usability and 3.5 for user recommended, while small vendors required a 3.21 for usability and a 3.25 for user recommended—products with a score less than 3.0 in either category were not considered. Software Advice then plotted 10 to 15 products on both small vendor and enterprise vendor graphics (based on vendor size), with more than 240 EHR products being evaluated for the report.

ChartLogic Displays Impressive Scores

The total score for each product is based on the usability score plus the user recommendation score. ChartLogic received an overall rating of 7.14 out of 10 with a usability score of 3.54 and a user recommendation score of 3.6. These impressive numbers demonstrate ChartLogic’s dedication to creating software that enables healthcare facilities around the country to work effectively and efficiently.

Today, EHRs are used in most U.S. medical settings. Since their introduction decades ago, technology has vastly improved, with EHRs continuing to incorporate the latest in capabilities and a progressively enhanced user experience.
