Technology Provides a New Leg for Physicians to Stand On with Vinti Singh of CurveBeam

The process of communicating the benefits of new technology can be as challenging as developing the technology itself. On today’s Healthcare podcast, our host spoke with the Marketing Manager for CurveBeam, Vinti Singh, to break down the science and business aspects of CT imaging. As hospital budgets shrink, less funds are finding their way to capital investments. Hospital administrators increasingly want to find ways to lower costs and increase value.

Singh discussed the one major change coming to CT imaging procedures that’s going to automatically and more accurately make replace manual measurements. We hear about the simple logic behind the new techniques, and how innovation is helping physicians rethink their offices and workflows. “To see that technological benefit, you really have to look at your entire practice. You can’t just sort of pop this in and expect everything else to adjust automatically,” Singh said. “You have to be ready to really be a manager of change and execute that properly.”
