Watch: Marriott Prepares to Make Las Vegas Strip Debut

Marriott International has announced plans to bring a new hotel to the Las Vegas Strip by 2020 as a part of a partnership between the hotel giant and global developers Witkoff Group. Called “The Drew Las Vegas,” the location will be a first for Marriott in Las Vegas and the debut of the EDITION brand on the Strip.

The Drew Las Vegas will host 4,000 guest rooms and over 500,000 sq ft of space for meetings, conventions, and events. As one of Marriott International’s portfolio of 6,500+ hotels and resorts across 127 different countries, this latest addition will be a landmark for the hospitality juggernaut.

New York-based firm Witkoff Group will aid in the development of the project, drawing on a deep well of experience. Two Blackbirds Hospitality will handle the launch and operations of the hotel once construction is complete. All three major players in the project are thrilled to develop a real Marriott presence on the world’s most famous piece of real estate.
