Draper® Has Been Nominated in Four Categories of the AVNation Best of 2020 Awards

AVNation (https://avnation.tv) is a leading AV industry media outlet, relying on industry veterans and experts to deliver AV-related news via podcasts, netcasts, newsletters, and social media. The AV Nation awards are handled differently than most other competitions. Instead of rallying support for a single vote, the AVNation awards are a March Madness-style bracket system. Voters choose their favorites in head-to-head balloting over a series of rounds.

There are three rounds overall, with round one of voting taking place this week. Here are the categories in which Draper is nominated, and why we hope you’ll vote for us!

Best Projection Technology: Acumen™.
We designed the Acumen™ series of surface mounted projection screens from the ground up with maximum versatility in mind. With image widths up to 18 feet, Acumen addresses virtually any projection environment and the elegant extruded aluminum housing complements any room design even when not in use.

Floating mounting brackets and a removable fascia to allow for easy installation. No wiring is necessary with rechargeable battery-operated options that further reduce installation costs.

The Acumen™ comes with an extended 7-year warranty—not that you’ll ever need it!

Best AV Accessory: SmartTrim™ for Barco UniSee®.
When coming up with a trim solution for Barco UniSee® LCD walls, our design engineers hit upon the unique solution of utilizing existing UniSee® X mounts for quick and easy attachment. SmartTrim™ clicks securely into place with magnets to cover and protect a wide range of standard and custom Barco UniSee® video wall configurations. It comes standard with a textured matte black finish, white or other powder coat colors are optional. A variety of custom colors, wood veneers, and laminates allow the trim to match almost any new or existing installation environment.

Best Mounting Technology: Foundation™.
From concept through design and production, the Draper Foundation™ Mount System was developed with installers in mind. Wavy walls? Foundation features fine Z-axis wall adjustment that quickly and precisely makes the system plumb. Funky floors? The plumb alignment pin helps quickly get system plumb even when dealing with non-flat surfaces, and vertical rail adjusters let you quickly align and level the bottom row of cabinets. Installation timeline tight? The Foundation™ Mount System is optimized for single-technician installation. Regardless of the LED display size, all Foundation assembly and install steps can be easily managed by one tech.

Best Tech Support.

We support you throughout the design and installation process with first class documentation and live tech support.
