Listen: AV as a Service with Jesse Miller of Midtown Video

Pro AV professionals know, that even when you plan and test all your gear, live streamed or video conference technology can surprise you with unexpected delays, dealing with a minute or two of trouble shooting. As live-streaming and personal broadcasting becomes more common and expected from clients, the industry faces a new need: for AV professionals to also be IT experts.

In today’s episode of the Pro AV podcast, Midtown Video’s Chief Technical Officer Jesse Miller dives into the AV industry’s need to marry AV and IT. “A couple years down the road the new approach will measure the longevity of the relationship with your customer – Not how many conference rooms you’ve built for them but how many years you’ve had all their conference room business,” Miller said.
