What to Look for at InfoComm 2018 This Week

The Pro AV industry, along with MarketScale, are gearing up for the biggest immersive AV experience in the US, Infocomm. This year, the show in Las Vegas will feature over 1,000 exhibitors and a host of new products and is partnered with big name tech companies like Samsung, LG, and Crestron.

One of the highlights of this year’s show is the return of Center Stage, located in booth N1646 in the Exhibit Hall. The program is free to attendees and features an array of topics including “The Future of AR in Immersive Experiences”, “Wearable Technology for Connecting Audiences”, “How Hospitality Brands Use VR and Interactive Video to Engage Guests”, “Immersive Experience Designers Reveal Audience Engagement Secrets”, and more. Center Stage will run all three days of the show.

The Innovations Showcase will feature new companies that provide innovative solutions for commercial AV, and show-goers can cast their vote for the Most Innovative Product award which will be given out by the end of the show. Or, head to the TIDE Conference on June 5th at MGM Las Vegas, where attendees can exchange experiences that human-centered design plays in business with industry innovators in design, architecture, and technology. Neuroscientist Dr. Beau Lotto and creative technologist Rana June will headline the conference.

“We want attendees to take a step back from their day-to-day way of thinking about technology. Listening to innovators on stage and seated next to them will open their minds to new possibilities. Starting off the week with the TIDE conference will have people looking at the technology spanning the InfoComm trade show floor in a whole new light.” Dan Goldstein, Senior Vice President of Content and Communications at AVIXA said.

Along with the TIDE Conference, festivities kick off on Tuesday with classes and 80 sessions that are brand-new to the event. For attendees with the Seminar and Workshop Package you can gain entrance to the show’s Emerging Trends Day, the new Integrated Life Day, and Manufacturers’ Training, as well.

MarketScale will attend this enterprising event. For a complete schedule of events, you can head to Infocomm’s scheduling page.
