There’s nothing more frustrating in the workplace than organizing a meeting only to find out the conference room is already being used. Well, maybe that one colleague who always steals your leftovers from the fridge is more annoying, but an unavailable conference room is a close second.

The modern office is utilizing pro AV to help avoid these headaches and help business get done. On today’s episode of the MarketScale Pro AV Podcast, Robert Parsons, Vice President of Sales for Taurus Technologies, joined us to discuss how technology is helping with the meeting scheduling process.

Before Integrated Systems Europe, the best-attended professional AV trade show kicks off next month we talk to some of the industry’s stalwarts to hear what the biggest innovations in audio were in 2018 and what they look forward to seeing in Amsterdam.

For this episode of Marketscale ProAv, we sit down with Dave Howden, Director of Technical Services for Community Professional Loudspeakers, based in Philadelphia since 1968. He reveals some new additions to the Community Pro product line and shares what the market is craving for 2019 technology.

Making the Meeting Happen

Robert Parsons, Vice President of Sales for Taurus Technologies, joined Daniel Litwin in the MarketScale studios to talk about his Hot Market of the Month. On this episode, he focused on room scheduling solutions. He mentions a variety of technology, like beacons you see in parking garages which can indicate if a board room is in use.

He also honed in on digital displays that are making room scheduling easier. Within that, Robert spoke on micro-LED trends and how large digital signage for scheduling info can also be a great conduit to promote company culture
