I'm Michael Haller, and I'm regional account manager with Planar Systems. Planar is a manufacturer of commercial display solutions. For everything from desktop monitors to video walls as large as you can imagine. Plan R has been around for forty years. We've been a display manufacturer that entire time. Over the years, we've gravitated into the bigger video solutions. It's hard to do a solid representation with just a small booth at a trade show. No two projects are the same, and every video wall is a consultative sale to make sure we find the right solutions for the customer. So to show some of the cool capabilities that we have in the lineup, we brought our transparent OLED solution. So this screen is the closest to magic I've ever sold in video products. It is self illuminating OLED on the surface and then the black pixels become translucent. So you could see through the display into the area behind it. But it is certainly a a cool way to leave an impressive mark on any of your guests or clients. If you look back over video screens and ten years have come a long way in a quick period of time. Our direct light ultra zero point six millimeter. That is the same resolution within fractions of a millimeter as a fifty five inch ultra narrow bezel LCD. So the technology now exists to replace and a pixel to pixel match, an ultra narrow bezel fifty five inch panel with direct u LEDs. Direct View LED isn't a new technology. It's been around for as long as you've heard the phrase jumbo tron in the early eighties, but what has changed is the ability to put them indoors and get up close to them. And the hard part is getting the right product into the right application. We built the name and reputation on technical product and supporting for its entire life cycle. And that's unique to Planar. You can always find out more at Planar dot com. And we have showrooms across the country. Your more Cosma will meet you in New York or if you're Philly based, we'll see you out there. Come on in and learn more about our technology and how we can build the right video well for

End users made up 37% of InfoComm 2026's 28,132 attendees

End users made up 37% of InfoComm 2026's 28,132 attendees

AVIXA reports InfoComm 2026 drew 28,132 verified attendees from 94 countries to Las Vegas, with end users making up 37%. Microsoft and Cisco keynotes centered on AI agents for the meeting room. For enterprise workplace and IT teams, the show's award-winning gear and cross-platform pitches are now landing in fall buying cycles.

  • 01A 37% end-user share at a pro AV trade show is a usable benchmark: more than one in three badges belonged to organizations that deploy the equipment, which changes who exhibitors build their demos for.
  • 02The sharper question to put to a collaboration vendor after this show is which platform an AI meeting feature actually runs on. According to AVIXA, Cisco's keynote framed intelligent systems and open collaboration ecosystems as working across any platform including Microsoft Teams, Google Meet and Zoom, while Microsoft tied its voice agents to Teams Phone and Teams Rooms.
  • 03The 170-meter Cat5e reach BZBGEAR's Matt Richards cited to CE Pro for the XTREME-PRO, part of the XLink-ONE family that took Best of Show at InfoComm 2026 from AV Technology, is a manufacturer spec, not an independent test; for facilities with runs past 100 meters it is worth a bench check before fiber is designed out.
