The Technologies on Display at NAB 2022

On April 23-27, 2022, the NAB Show – Where Content Comes to Life, will be in-person at the Las Vegas Convention Center for the 1st time since 2019! This renowned industry event produced by the National Association of Broadcasters is the most anticipated annual convention for the media, entertainment, and technology industry. Convention-goers can enjoy the transformation technologies prime to shape the future of media and entertainment.

Mickey Miller, CEO at Vislink, and Michel Bais, Managing Director at Mobile Viewpoint, dropped by to give Tyler Kern a sneak peek at what folks can expect from Vislink and Mobile Viewpoint with insight into what the rest of the show has to offer. Why NAB? It’s one of the biggest technology shows of the year. “If you want to reach your customers, your public, you have to go there,” Bais said.

“100,000 people were at NAB in 2019,” Miller said. So, what will the crowds be like post-pandemic? It’s the first year in-person since COVID-19 struck. Miller wasn’t sure what the crowds would be like, but historically it’s an important show, and there is a lot of excitement brewing for this year’s event.

And what does Vislink have on tap for the show? “What I like about what we’re presenting is it includes all our products, Mobile Viewpoint and Vislink, interoperable and all managed by the link matrix, which is effectively the OS that Mobile Viewpoint’s had for some time and now is integrated with our products,” Miller said. “I think we’ll have upwards of six or seven new products at the booth being shown and have our experts there to help our customers understand how that will solve their problems.”

The show is an excellent opportunity to talk directly with product vendors worldwide and get live training on new products and features. And it gives companies, like Vislink, a chance to get input to make their next year’s lineup of products better than ever. “You can show the complete portfolio in a tradeshow,” Bais said. “You can show all the opportunities and capabilities, and it makes them think of all the things they want to do.”
