Snapchat’s augmented reality filters now interact with voice commands. The lenses will animate basic English words such as “hi,” “love,” “yes” and “wow.” These are the first lenses that interact with more than just facial movement. Snapchat has offered lenses that use audio in the past, but not any that interact with words. Snap hopes the new feature will keep users more engaged.
