How the Tech Revolution Has Changed Retail: NRF 2020

Rob Van Nuenen, Channable’s Co-founder and CEO, joined MarketScale at NRF 2020 Vision: Retail’s Big Show to discuss the intersection of retail and tech.

“In any company you need tech to bring you to the next level. It’s not optional anymore, it’s mandatory,” he said.

Coming from a background in tech and IT, Van Nuenen is well-positioned to comment on the seismic shift that has occurred in the industry in recent years. Technology has made the same tools accessible to everyone from the largest retailers to the smallest startup.

“You can have a very broad scale of tools to help you grow your business. It’s not necessary anymore to have one big solution for your whole company like the big companies do nowadays,” said Van Nuenen.
