Watch: Walmart’s dip in sales sends Dow plunging

Walmart reported yearly profits that missed the mark by almost 30%, shocking investors and sending shares plummeting. Stocks at the retail giant lost nearly 10% Tuesday morning, dragging the Dow to a 100 point loss. Though Walmart has encroached on the online dominance of Amazon, there’s still work to be done. Recently Walmart dropped the “stores” from its name, indicating a shift toward a larger, less traditional brand to come.
