AtlasIED’s GLOBALCOM® network-centric mass notification system is installed in the Vaughan Metropolitan Centre transit station in the Regional Municipality of York in Ontario, Canada. Daily, around 100,000 passengers use the bus system to travel the greater Toronto area. Reliable technology was needed to support rapid communication, and that’s when CP-Stoneman turned to AtlasIED for the solution. From mic stations to head-end announcement control including software, the large zoned system handles both daily communications and critical alerts.
