How Drones are Connecting Guam Across the Pacific

Both pilots and companies are navigating a thin line between security and innovation. Host Grant Guillot talks with leaders, influencers, and experts across the drone industry to guide us through the complex web of technology and policy in the United States.

Drones in America host Grant Guillot has discussed the future of the American drone industry – but never before how Guam fits under that umbrella. As the westernmost part of America, the island falls under the scope of the FAA.

But how does the small island get the attention of the FAA? That’s where Bella Wings Aviation comes in. The start-up is working with the FAA to develop a new market in Guam and to help take the boundaries of the industry further through its tropical location.

To get a further understanding of this development and the immediate impact this will have on the drone industry, Guillot sat down with business partners Pearla Cordero, Charlie Hermosa and Dong Won Lee.

In addition to guiding Guillot through how they envision drones will capture islanders’ interest through contactless delivery, they discussed the economic opportunity the industry will bring to Guam and how it could help keep the island on track, technologically, instead of it falling behind other territories.

The Next Data Center Bottleneck Isn’t Power or Cooling, It’s People
February 8, 2026

With the rapid rise of AI workloads, data centers are being built with higher power density, stricter reliability expectations, and cooling technologies that are evolving faster than most teams can adapt. As a result, these facilities aren’t just getting bigger—they’re becoming harder to operate, harder to staff, and far less forgiving when something goes…

Clarity Under Pressure: Technology, Trust, and the Future of Public Safety
February 7, 2026

When something goes wrong in a community—a major storm, a large-scale accident, a violent incident—there’s often a narrow window where clarity matters most. Leaders must make fast decisions, responders need to trust the information in front of them, and the systems supporting those choices have to work as intended. Public safety agencies now rely…
