ESPN Streaming Service Gets Release Date ESPN+ will debut April 12, 2018 and cost $4.99 per month. The service will offer live sports, original content, and on-demand programming. In February, ESPN confirmed that subscribers would have access to eight network TV channels, like ESPN and ESPN 2. A TV subscription is still required. An updated ESPN app is also set for release on April 12, which will include access to the same channels through a special live streaming section. Subscriber will also get access to: Hundreds of MLB, NHL and MLS games, Year-round boxing and much more.
