Watch: American Airlines says ticket prices will go up soon

Doug Parker, CEO of American Airlines, recently said that airlines are slowly adjusting to a spike in oil prices. Crude prices are reaching three-year highs and airlines are moving to accommodate the shift. The increased costs are a drag on numerous airlines looking to grow and expand with the economy. Though American’s saw a dip in share price, their overall earnings are strong. Travelers should expect higher prices soon.
