Watch: Massive snowstorm leads to 1,500 canceled flights
A winter storm slammed the Midwest this week, swamping Chicago and Detroit with 1 inch of snow an hour. At least a foot of snow is predicted and now flights from major airports are being canceled en masse. Delta, United, Frontier, and Southwest have issued weather waivers, allowing passengers to swap reservations without fees. As snow crews mobilize, travel has come to a standstill through much of the Midwest.
