Connecting Data to Improve Your Contamination Control Strategies

Santa Monica, CA – Novatek International’s Head of Product Specialists and Training Services, Sheba Zaman, recently spoke with Gabrielle Bejarano, host of the “Exceeding Your Benchmark” podcast by Benchmark Solutions. The two discussed how the pharmaceutical industry can integrate data use in processes to improve contamination control strategies while adhering to compliance standards and protecting data.

Contamination control is vital in pharma, but the variety of regulations, liabilities, and patient health considerations create data silos that impede development of efficient strategies. Zaman and Bejarano explored how companies can overcome this by integrating data use in their processes.

Zaman also highlighted challenges of managing compliance data in the pharmaceutical industry and discussed how technology can provide visibility in a holistic manner. She emphasized the benefits of technology in decision making and trend analysis and predicted the evolution of compliance software in the next five to ten years.

Furthermore, Zaman addressed concerns about cybersecurity and data integrity, explaining companies must make a significant investment to mitigate risks. She encouraged companies to conduct a data integrity risk assessment and ensure that both their processes and solutions meet data integrity requirements.

Zaman’s insights provide valuable information to pharmaceutical companies looking to improve contamination strategies while maintaining compliance standards and data security.
