Associated Grocers of New England, Inc. (AG New England) was founded in 1946 by 18 independent retailers aiming to leverage collective purchasing power. Initially operating as New Hampshire Wholesale Grocers, the company quickly evolved into a cooperative, creating a strong network for distribution and purchasing. Today, AG New England operates out of a state-of-the-art 380,000-square-foot facility in Pembroke, New Hampshire, which supports over 600 independent retailers across the Northeastern U.S. The company offers a wide range of products and services, including advertising, merchandising, and retail support, driven by a team of over 300 dedicated employees.
