The University of Arkansas is buzzing with news of the campus’s latest addition. The 200,000 sq foot residence hall is the nation’s first mass timber residence hall. With exposed wood ceilings, courtyards, a community kitchen, and a rooftop terrace, the space is a living learning environment. The interwoven building and landscaped courtyards, terraces, and lawns and the beauty of timber structure and spaces will make this newest campus residential community a destination and a magnet. The astounding new space is expected to be student-ready by Fall 2019.
