GEODIS Unlocks Smarter Warehouse Operations Using CaseFlow Case Picking Solution

GEODIS, a global leader in logistics and distribution, has long relied on case and pallet picking as a core part of its warehouse operations. Seeking to reduce manual travel and improve fulfillment speed, the company implemented CaseFlow, Vecna Robotics’ intelligent case picking solution.

Andy Johnston, Senior Director of Design Engineering & Innovation, and Steve Elsbury, Senior Operations Manager at GEODIS, share the company’s experience deploying the system across its operations. The introduction of CaseFlow brought immediate benefits. Associates now receive orders directly at their location, eliminating the need for repeated travel to induction points. This shift has contributed to increased picking rates, improved productivity, and greater alignment with incentive-based pay structures.

The system is supported by Vecna Robotics’ Pivotal Command Center, which provides real-time remote assistance to floor operations. This capability has helped GEODIS maintain consistent performance and resolve issues quickly, reinforcing the operational value of CaseFlow in a high-volume environment. As a scalable solution for case picking, CaseFlow has enabled GEODIS to adapt quickly to changing workflows and product demands.
