Companies are increasingly adopting systems that integrate different layers of protection to control access and prevent unauthorized entry. As the complexity of threats grows, so too does the need for a security posture that ensures control over all areas of a building.

How can organizations ensure seamless integration of these layers to provide complete building security?

At GSX 2024, Nick Simon, the National Sales Manager at Alvarado Turnstiles, highlighted how their comprehensive security solutions address multiple areas of concern. He explained that starting with the exterior of the building and moving inward, each layer integrates smoothly with access control systems to ensure total security at every point of entry.

“Starting from the exterior of your building, we provide full-height turnstiles for areas like parking lots. These turnstiles ensure one-to-one control, integrating with your access control systems to maintain true security. Once inside the building, we offer another layer of security with optical turnstile lanes. Credentialed users present their badge for one-to-one control, while unauthorized entries like tailgate attempts are detected, ensuring only the right people are inside,” Simon said.
