This week, we will cover industry career news from across the nation as well as highlight a few open jobs who are looking for that right candidate to come along.

With that being said, let’s get into it!

It was recently reported that Amazon currently has staggering 37,000+ job listings, taking the list of positions to a record high.

A company spokesperson stated that it is the most jobs that have been posted to Amazon.jobs in the last 15 months and maybe the most ever.

Amazon is seeking everyone from hourly warehouse workers to top-paid machine-learning experts, underscoring the breadth and scope of the company’s operations and ambition. The listings provide a rough map of Amazon’s near-term growth priorities across businesses and geographies.

Our next story comes from a list posted by Glassdoor of 8 companies that are offering up to $60,000 hiring bonuses to new employees.

The American economy added 200,000 jobs in January, indicating a healthy job market start for 2020. Employers who are excited to fill these roles are offering enticing bonuses to fill their most prominent positions.

A few of these companies who are offering lavish signing bonuses include:

Caterpillar Inc, Lockheed Martin, PepsiCo, and Raytheon.

And in lighter news, Boston Brands of Maine, who are best known as the makers of Fireball Whiskey are transitioning to a 24/7 operation schedule in order to create jobs and set an example of how locally operated businesses can make an impact on their local economy and workforce.
